According to the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (2021), 41% of Uganda’s population lives in absolute poverty, earning less than U.S. $1.77 per person per day. These vulnerable families face significant challenges, including food insecurity, emotional stress, homelessness, and more. Without assistance, their hopes diminish, and their situations worsen over time.

Twahirah Islamic Charity Organisation (TICO) is committed to making a difference in the lives of these vulnerable individuals and families through our Relief Program.

Our Relief Program includes:

1. Food Aid:

TICO provides food packages to families facing food insecurity, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals.

2. Clothing and Bedding Donations:

We donate clothing and bedding to families in need, providing them with essential items for daily living.

3. Shelter Construction:

TICO builds shelters for homeless families, offering them a safe and secure place to live and restore their hope for a better future.
