CORE VALUES

According to the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (2016), 41% of the population in Uganda live below the poverty line, with many earning little to no income. Additionally, 12.3% of children are orphans, making them particularly susceptible to various life risks. These circumstances, among others, render many people vulnerable, and without intervention, they struggle to improve their situations.

Twahirah Islamic Charity Organisation was established to bridge this gap by providing support to the vulnerable communities in Uganda.
