Assalam alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh dear readers. My name is Nasur Bakaaki, currently a resident of Garuga, Entebbe. It’s now one year since I joined Twahirah Islamic Charity Organisation (TICO) as a member, a Non-government Organisation. In it, I found a team of determined and selfless members. TICO is guided by principles of accountability and transparency in serving the underprivileged to create a positive impact in society. For the time I have been with Twahirah charity organization, we have engaged in a number of charity events such as; providing food relief to the underprivileged, Dhuhia project in dhul Hijja, donation of wheel chairs to the disabled, generating fees for orphans, to mention but a few. Subsequently, we have been consistently creating an increasing positive difference in our societies. Nevertheless, it is never an easy effort especially in a resource limited world. Thus, I request more members to join this selfless team of Twahirah Charity organization such that we can create more hope and positive change especially in our underprivileged societies. Thank you once again and may the Almighty Allah accept from members of Twahirah Charity organization and all those that give without stint to the underprivileged.

Assalamu alaikum warahmatulahi wabarakatuhu, My being a student of TIC dates way back even before the famous name you know. Sheikh Akram could teach us only one surah (chapter) a day because we were so busy to attend online classes, neither did we loss hope nor our teacher. Time came when Twahirah grew and became bigger thus all the students Sheikh Akram was teaching had to be given another teacher. My teacher then advised me to memorize the Quran which idea I welcomed and I started right away. Due to my busy schedule, I did not have much time to study, my morale started to deteriorate and I nearly lost hope. One day, TIC posted a lady who had completed learning the Holy Quran and it challenged me a lot. I then decided to resume studying with more effort put thus learning in the shortest time you cannot imagine and I managed to complete memorizing the entire Holy Quran. I therefore urge everyone who would like to learn the Quran to use your time effectively, in Allah, everything is possible. Do not be so busy not to spare time for spiritual growth. It is the most genuine organisation I know because the products I donate reach the needy, which means that my Sadaq counts even before for proof. Allah. As a resident of Kijabijjo and a proud member of TICO, I am fortunate to have benefited from the incredible projects conducted by our organization. The design and implementation of these projects are top-notch, yielding remarkable results for the vulnerable communities we serve. From providing food, clothing, and educational support to underserved individuals and communities to promoting Islamic values, the TICO team has excelled in their mission. I have witnessed firsthand how lives from hopeless backgrounds have improved significantly. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to my fellow members, partners, donors, volunteers, and staff for their unwavering efforts in restoring hope to the lives of the needy. May Allah bless you all.
