During the holy month of Ramadan, many Muslims are caught up in circumstances beyond their control and are forced to forego fasting in this period yet it is the fourth pillar of Islam. A number of these Muslims come from poor families and are not able to afford food iftar to break their fasting throughout this period.

This Ramadan 2025, we aim at providing Iftar to one hundred twenty (120) fasting Muslims of Masjid Taqwa Kijabijjo-Uganda and distributing One hundred (100) food packages to One hundred (100) vulnerable fasting families in different parts of the country. Through this, we shall be able to help many Muslims to fulfil the fourth pillar of Islam.

• To provide Iftar to Muslims of Masjid Taqwa Kijabijjo-Uganda for the whole month of Ramadan, we need to raise funds totaling to UGX 13,810,500 ($ 3631.5)
• Feeding the fasting Muslims of this Masjid for a day costs UGX 460,350 ($ 121).
• One family food package costs UGX 112,200 ($ 26)
• One hundred families’ food packages cost UGX 11,220,000 ($ 2950.3)
