TICO plays a crucial role in advancing several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through its focused initiatives. By providing essential services such as education, healthcare, clean water access, and economic empowerment to vulnerable groups including orphans, women, and the disabled, TICO actively promotes Goal 1 which centers on No Poverty, Goal 2 calling for Zero hunger, Goal 3 that promotes Good Health and Well-being, Goal 4 for provision of Quality Education, Goal 5 for promoting Gender Equality, Goal 6 centering on Clean Water and Sanitation and Goal 10 that calls for Reduced Inequalities. Additionally, TICO’s efforts in promoting Islamic values and community cohesion contribute to Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by fostering social justice and equity among marginalized communities.
