Quran and Yassarna distribution

According to the Uganda Bureau of Statistics, Muslims make up 14 percent of the country’s population, accounting for about 9.1 million out of forty-five million Ugandans. Learning about Allah is a privilege for those who can access it, yet many Muslims across Uganda are unable to obtain the Holy Quran, Quran teachers, or other essential Islamic learning materials. This lack of access often weakens faith and limits the spiritual and educational growth of children and communities.

Recognizing this challenge, Twahirah Islamic Charity Organisation (TICO) has taken the initiative to bridge the gap by distributing Qurans and Yassarna books to mosques, Quran memorisation centers, schools, and individuals through our religious based initiatives program. Through these efforts, TICO aims to bring closer such to vulnerable Muslims who cannot afford these materials, ensuring that no one is deprived of the opportunity to learn and understand Islam.

With your support, TICO will ensure that needy schools, mosques and individuals gain access to Qurans and Yassarna, bringing the light of Allah’s word closer to their hearts and nurturing their faith for a brighter future.
