Twahirah Islamic Charity Organisation (TICO) actively contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through its various programs that target vulnerable communities in Uganda. TICO addresses Goal 1: No Poverty by empowering individuals through skills development and vocational training, enabling them to achieve financial independence.

The organisation also supports Goal 2: Zero Hunger by providing food aid and promoting sustainable agriculture practices, ensuring food security for families in rural areas. Furthermore, TICO promotes Goal 4: Quality Education through its education sponsorship program, ensuring that underprivileged children have access to quality schooling, while also offering vocational skills training for women and youth.
