Food packages distribution

Food insecurity remains a daily struggle for vulnerable households, including those headed by widows, the elderly, and those caring for orphans. High levels of unemployment combined with the rising cost of basic commodities often leave families unable to afford more than one meal a day. This chronic lack of nutrition not only leads to poor health outcomes and stunted growth in children but also creates a state of constant psychological distress, as parents struggle to provide the most necessity for their loved ones.

TICO addresses this crisis through distribution of food Packages designed to provide immediate relief and nutritional stability to the most at risk households. We conduct thorough community assessments to identify families in dire need. Each package is carefully prepared and includes food items such as rice, maize flour, beans, sugar, salt, and cooking oil. By delivering these supplies directly to the homes of the beneficiaries, we provide a vital safety net that ensures no family under our care must go to bed hungry.

The impact of this initiative has been a lifeline for thousands of individuals across various districts.
